1943 joined the ICW Group sister ships Derby County Huddersfield Town Leeds United and York City based at Milford Haven 
She remained with this group for the remainder of her commission
She was employed on Escort duties in the western approaches. She was also employed in the MF escorting Landing Craft to Gibraltor as well as Med Convoys
Returned to the UK at the end of the year and was based again at Milford Haven
1944 The group took part in Operation Neptune, the D-Day landings, in June, as an escort Vessel
11\/1945 Returned to owners 
01\/1946 sold to Hull Ice Co changed Registry GY 136<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was lost after being stranded on the South Coast of Iceland, the vessel had not long returned from the war service, 3 men lost their lives James J Whelton, Deckhand, Kenneth Meadows, Deckhand and Charles J H Lond, Deckhand. The ship was actually undamaged when the crew left her but after attempts to re float her failed she was given up as Lost<\/p>\n\n\n\n
