Magpie built 05/03/1896 Cook Welton & Gemmell for Pickering & Haldanes Steam Trawling Co Hull registered as H 311 1904 she was damaged by a Russian warship in Dogger Bank Incident 05/12/1916 She was sold to George F Sleight registered as GY 1010 1918 Requisitioned as a Fishery Reserve renamed Magpie III 1919 returned to owners and reverted to original name 29/10/1920 Sold to A Walker Aberdeen registered as A 495 1928 sold to P Valkaniar & Yak Ijmuiden Holland
