10/05/1917 North Sea Working off Whitby with trawler Waldorf Blown up at 1530 mine laid by UC 40 Gustave Deuerlich sank off Whitby Yorkshire 54.30.40N 00.37.20W  Skipper and 9 ratings lost 1 badly injured survivor picked up
