01/1901 The trawler owned by Messrs Hagerup & Doughty was some 250 miles E.N.E of Spurn, a paraffin lamp caught fire in the forecastle setting the woodwork ablaze. It was quickly extinguished but W. Hardy, steward had both of his hands and face burned.
