Barnett built 26/07/1937 by Cook Welton & Gemmell for Crampin Steam Fishing Co
11/1939 Requisitioned and converted into an A/S and renamed Blackfly
Joined the 12th A/S Strike force and worked the Northern waters based at Grimsby and Chatham
1940 took part in the Norwegian Campaign
1942 Employed in the Artic Convoys
1944 Transferred to Ministry of Fisheries
15/05/1945 In Convoy with the Gunboat Kilmarnock they sank U731 off Tangier 
1946 Sold back to Crampins and reverted to original name but  registered as GY 200
03/1946 sold to Hull Ice Co
11/1946 sold back to Crampins
